How CORE Came to Be
Before CORE existed, Tony LeBlanc and Stephen Dunnett were property owners themselves — managing a growing portfolio of residential units across Greater Moncton. And like every property owner, they were drowning in contractors.
A plumber for the leak. An electrician for the panel. A handyman for everything in between. Each trade came with its own scheduling headaches, inconsistent pricing, and zero communication with the others. When one job created a problem for the next, there was no one to call. You started over.
The aha moment wasn't dramatic — it was a Tuesday afternoon when a simple bathroom repair turned into a three-week coordination nightmare involving four different contractors, two missed appointments, and a bill that looked nothing like the original quote. Tony looked at Stephen and said: "There has to be a better way to do this."
In 2014, they built that better way. CORE started as an in-house maintenance company for their own properties. The model worked so well that other property owners started asking if they could use it too. Word spread. The team grew. The divisions expanded.
Today, CORE is Greater Moncton's only true multi-trade property services company — six specialized divisions, one point of contact, and a team of over 40 people who show up like they own the place. Because in a way, they do.

The People Running the Show
Leadership with real trade experience and deep roots in Greater Moncton.
Tony co-founded CORE in 2014 after years of managing his own property portfolio and experiencing firsthand the frustration of coordinating multiple trades. He leads the company's vision and long-term strategy.
When he's not building CORE, Tony is an avid hockey fan who can be found cheering on his kids at rinks across Greater Moncton.
Stephen oversees day-to-day operations across all six CORE divisions, ensuring every job is delivered on time and to standard. His background in property management gives him a unique perspective on what clients actually need.
Stephen is a proud New Brunswicker who believes the best trades work in the province is done right here in Greater Moncton.
Jonathan manages CORE's field operations and technician scheduling across Moncton, Riverview, and Dieppe. With a hands-on background in residential and commercial maintenance, he keeps the machine running smoothly.
When he's not coordinating the field team, Jonathan coaches youth baseball and is a dedicated dad of two.
Steven leads CORE's growth strategy, partnerships, and client relationships. He's the driving force behind CORE Pro and the company's expansion into new service areas.
Steven is passionate about supporting local businesses and is involved in several Greater Moncton community initiatives.
